This is a unique opportunity to join Meraki Talent, a leading financial recruitment firm with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. This is the perfect role for a marketer interested in developing new ideas and creating and running effective social media and lead generation campaigns, and someone who wants to join a start-up environment, where the business is constantly evolving and you’re able to make a notable and positive impact on the future and strategy of the company and the marketing function.


This role would be reporting to the Director and supporting the rapidly expanding Meraki team, with input and support from our parent company Marketing Director within serial entrepreneur, James Caan CBEs portfolio of businesses.


Main areas of responsibility:


Content and online marketing


  • Production of email marketing campaign to select audiences
  • Creating and managing content for all social media channels to increase audience numbers and engagement
  • Writing blogs on industry related topics
  • Website content production to drive new and return user traffic
  • Managing all social media and advertising schedules
  • Maintaining strong external supplier contacts to negotiate rates
  • Using LinkedIn to generate and monitor talent attraction activity
  • Social media and website stats monthly reporting
  • Analysis of all free and paid promotional channels to determine performance
  • Creating and coordinating new marketing processes
  • Branding documents and templates
  • Ad hoc marketing projects


Campaign management


  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of ideas for new quarterly marketing talent attraction campaigns
  • Completing weekly analysis of latest campaign performance
  • Co-ordinate all existing marketing collateral and campaign content into a marketing drive to create a full brand asset library
  • Project planning and communicating marketing campaigns/initiatives across internally within Meraki and externally
  • Assist with coordinating of all campaign production, from preparing initial marketing and design briefs to obtaining final approval
  • Responsible for coordinating the production of all related marketing collateral
  • Develop and maintain marketing and campaign toolkits for use by future offices and divisions
  • Assist with campaign ROI tracking to determine the best lead generation sources



Required skills:

  • Minimum of 2yrs marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Efficient and organised 
  • Approachable and adaptable 
  • Ability to prioritise workload 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Competent with social media tools
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Talent campaign experience desirable
  • Degree preferable but not essential
