Meraki Talent are currently looking to recruit an Audit Senior Manager to join a big 4 firm in Hamilton, Bermuda. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong audit background and experience within the financial services sector (specifically focusing on insurance) to develop their career by gaining experience with a well-established firm.

You will be joining a leading practice firm who have an exceptionally strong presence across the Caribbean and Bermuda. Bermuda is a respected international finance centre and is a major centre in the international offshore investment fund sector and a global leader within the insurance sector.

 Duties and responsibilities of the Audit Senior Manager

  • Leading the firm’s audit services within the Insurance sector
  • Managing and developing client relationships within sector
  • Involvement in leading audits at all stages from planning stage to completion
  • Developing client relationships and be known as an active and extensive networker
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of staff
  • Ensuring relationships are maintained to a high standard

 Background of the Audit Senior Manager

  • ACCA, CA, ICAEW, CPA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience with insurance sector
  • Experience at Manager or Senior Manager level, working in a large audit department
  • Big 4 experience is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of SEC requirements
  • Good knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
  • Knowledge Canadian GAAP and Bermudian GAAP is an advantage
  • Previous experience working in English is essential
  • Extensive experience within Audit
  • Strong communication skills- both written and spoken
  • Strong ability to develop client relationships
