Meraki Talent are currently looking to recruit a Manager of accounting and reporting with US GAAP experience to join a well-established accountancy firm in Zurich, Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong accounting background and previous US GAAP exposure to develop their career by gaining experience with a well-respected firm in a desirable location.

Duties of the Accounting and Reporting Manager

  • Integrated audits of multinational companies including reporting to the U.S. firm and other group auditors
  • Transaction based projects that require US GAAP and SEC reporting expertise
  • Financial statement conversions to US GAAP
  • Working to provide accounting advisory and SOX advisory services to non-audit clients
  • Coaching and training the local team on technical US accounting and auditing
  • Providing internal and external training US GAAP and US GAAS

Requirements for the Accounting and Reporting Manager

  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS/PCAOB and SEC requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of US audit methodology
  • Minimum 5-8 years of recent audit experience
  • Big 4 firm experience
  • Experience in managing teams and coaching staff
  • US CPA license (or equivalent)
  • Focussed on high service levels
  • Excellent English language skills – both written and spoken
  • German is a big plus
