Meraki Talent are recruiting for an accounts payable analyst for a global investment firm in Edinburgh. The successful applicant will have previous work in a similar role, self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Analyst:

  • Accurate processing of high volume multi-currency electronic payments processed through the Accounts Payable systems
  • Monitor daily shared mailbox, answering to all internal and external queries quickly and regularly.
  • Liaise with CSM of banks / business areas to chase up outstanding items
  • Organisation of refunds due to the firm
  • Generate and maintain internal procedure documents
  • Ensure any returned payments are investigated instantaneously and relevant business areas are informed

Background of the Accounts Payable Analyst:

  • Prior experience of working in payment team or banking environment would be beneficial
  • Experience of working in a global corporate environment (dealing with multiple currencies / legal entities) is beneficial
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products
