As Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll be a key part of the wider finance team, responsible for the purchase ledger, preparing supplier statements and supporting the expenses process. Naturally, as Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll ensure that all purchase ledger invoices, journals and expense claims are processed quickly and accurately. Furthermore, you’ll undertake supplier statement reconciliations, prepare payments to suppliers, code expense claims as well as providing support and cover for other team members.
To be successful, you will be an experienced Accounts Payable officer with demonstrable experience of using an Accounts Payable system within a finance function. Previous experience of working in the purchase ledger department of a financial services department would be an advantage but is by no means essential. It would also be advantageous if you are proficient in Excel, have the ability to delivery work to a high standard of accuracy and can build lasting relationships not just within finance, but across the wider business.
