Meraki Talent are currently looking to recruit an Audit Manager to join the audit dept of a Top 10 firm in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong audit background to develop their career by gaining experience with a well-established firm and working with an enviable and varied client base. The client base is focused within non-financial services, both locally and internationally. Some of the sectors you will work in will include property, hospitality, distribution, agriculture and leisure.

Duties and responsibilities of the Audit Manager

  • Leading and managing the audit engagement team
  • Coordinating a number of audits at the same time
  • Responsible for all aspects of audits from planning through to completion
  • Responsible for bringing solutions and resolving issues with clients
  • Responsible for fee negotiation and cash collection
  • Delivering training, including technical training
  • Act as the main point of contact for client, focusing on strength relationships
  • Developing strong internal relationships
  • Involvement in junior staff training, both formally and on the job training or team members
  • Assisting Partners with client presentations and tender documents

 Background of the Audit Manager

  • ACCA/ CA/ ACA/ CPA qualified or equivalent
  • Managerial level experience
  • Background with a Big 4 or Top 10 Accountancy firm
  • Have strong knowledge of FRS100 to FRS102 and IFRS
