Meraki Talent are currently looking to recruit an Audit Manager to join a well-established accountancy firm in Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong audit background in the non-financial services sector to develop their career by gaining experience with a well-respected firm in a desirable location. The focus area for this position will be pharmaceuticals and life science so previous exposure within these sectors will be a strong advantage.

Duties of the Audit Manager

  • Working as part of an international, multicultural team
  • Leading a variety of different projects
  • Carrying out audits of annual and consolidated financial statements
  • Working on both international and national engagements
  • Client sectors will including trade, industry, life science, and services
  • Working in accordance with Swiss reporting standards and IFRS
  • Support the development of next-generation audit and working with state of the art technologies
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members as required

 

Requirements for the Accounting and Reporting Manager

  • Experience with a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
  • Technically strong within audit with excellent knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in auditing group accounts (consolidation)
  • ACCA/ CA/ CPA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience working with clients from the non-financial services sector, with life science experience as a big plus
  • Strong client management skills with an excellent ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Team management abilities, including the ability to delegate and supervise
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent English language skills
  • German is a big plus
