Meraki Talent are currently looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join a leading CA firm in Guernsey, The Channel Islands. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong audit background to develop their career by gaining experience with a busy Financial Services centre within Europe.

You will be joining a leading practice firm with an excellent reputation on Guernsey and beyond. The firm invest heavily in the development and advancement of their people making this an excellent opportunity for a qualified Audit Senior who is interested in working predominately with banking and insurance clients.

Duties of the Audit Senior

  • Planning and undertaking of audit
  • Having responsibility for all aspects of auditing from planning stage to finalisation/ completion
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Leading audits or working as part of the audit team, as required
  • Liaising effectively with clients and developing strong client relationships
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of staff
  • Working with a range of financial services clients

 

Requirements for the Audit Senior:

  • Internationally recognised professional accounting qualification – CPA, CA. ACA or ACCA or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a public practice firm
  • Previous experience in Financial services is beneficial, though not essential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Supervisory or mentoring experience
  • Previous experience within Audit
  • Strong communication skills- both written and spoken
