Meraki Talent is pleased to be working with a leading global law firm who are looking to add a talented Bid Writer to their successful Business Development team based in Glasgow.

This is a permanent opportunity where you will be providing writing support for the end-to-end bid process and firm-wide content management strategy.

Responsibilities of the Bid Writer:

  • Support the development of bid responses globally
  • Writing, reviewing, proofing and amending bid responses
  • Supporting wider team members in relation to client research and reporting on major complex bids
  • Ensuring consistent writing style and tone of voice in bid responses 
  • Producing copy for the firm’s bid library
  • Analysing bid response feedback in order to support overall quality
  • Working with stakeholders across the firm – both local and remotely

Background of the Bid Writer:

  • Proven experience of working within a Bid writing capacity
  • Experience of working within a legal, professional services or complex, global environment
  • An understanding of legal practices and products
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Experience of overseeing content libraries and/or pitch automation systems
  • Confidence in working with stakeholders across the business – both locally and remotely
  • Fantastic time management skills – used to working in a deadline driven environment
