Meraki Talent are recruiting for a Compliance Associate on behalf of a leading Asset Servicing company in Leeds, for an initial 6-month contract. The current role is within the compliance function and they are looking for a dynamic individual who can assist the team with the financial crime prevention responsibilities and oversight.


Responsibilities of the Compliance Associate:

  • Undertake reviews of accounts that have failed standard verification
  • Assist the team with various oversight functions
  • Work through the AML process
  • Ad-hoc duties relating to financial crime and risk mitigation
  • Analyse data and problem solve – escalating findings where necessary
  • Adherence to Fund Solutions’ policies and procedures - in particular to ensure operational controls are carried out in accordance with procedures to enable the on-going mitigation of business risk


Background of the Compliance Associate:

  • Understand AML processes and controls – training will be provided on this
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and legislative environment
  • Previous experience Proficiency in MS packages with competent abilities
  • Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and with good attention to detail
  • Experience within financial services
  • Sanctions screening, or similar experience gained in a regulated industry
