Meraki Talent are recruiting for a Data Lead role on behalf of a leading Security services firm in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked in a similar role, with an understanding of the project lifecycle. The business is experiencing an exciting period of growth and are looking for individuals who are keen to work in a fast paced, professional environment.


Responsibilities of the Data Lead:

  • Act as first point of contact for the progamme on matters related to data management outcomes and to implement effective data management
  • To provide, support and report against BTF aligned framework to ensure data management milestones are implemented into underlying programme plans
  • Be required to support the Basel III Data and controls programme delivery
  • Escalate related risks and issues & liaise with leadership and teams for these escalations
  • Support the Basel III Data and Controls delivery programme
  • Responsible for reassessing operational risks and likelihood of operational risk occurring


Background of the Data Lead:

  • Proven experience within Basel III
  • Previous experience working within Financial Services
  • Extensive project management skills
  • Experience of managing large and complex projects
  • Strong people management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
