Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a talented and capable individual to join our exciting client on a permanent basis. Currently we are recruiting a Digital Marketing Manager to join our client on a permanent basis.

You can expect flexible working hours, exciting working environment and a competitive salary. The successful candidate will have four main areas of focus; digital strategy, website management social media and digital marketing.


Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Undertake the creation, development and implementation of digital marketing and communications strategy
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide expertise in all areas of digital communications technology
  • Drive accessibility on our digital platforms
  • Identify funding opportunities for digital projects and website redevelopment
  • Implement robust systems and procedures to monitor, measure and report on ROI
  • Monitor social networks and report on engagement
  • Undertake full review of website in order to brief and commission the next stage of development and redesign
  • On-going improvement to usability, design, content and conversion
  • Create and edit content on supported websites supported by, ensuring appropriate branding is maintained throughout
  • Manage search engine marketing, including search engine optimisation 
  • Overseeing the development and management of social media strategy and plans – ensuring we have a presence on all relevant social media channels to maximise engagement and driving traffic to site
  • Work with a cross trust staff group of social media ambassadors and editors to ensure engaging, relevant, innovative content
  • Monitor social media profiles regularly and ensure the organisation is responding to followers, peers and partners
  • Monitor blogs, forums and websites for mentions and opportunities
  • Develop and commission appropriate mobile marketing and communications including app-based, in-game, location-based and SMS marketing
  • Work with other members of the Marketing and Communications Team to create and commission engaging written, graphic and video digital content including photography, filming and editing, adverts and blogs for promotion of our services, activities and events 
  • Support and monitor effectiveness of online advertising campaigns, Facebook, Google Ad Words, and pay per click (PPC) advertising in accordance with departmental plans and priorities
  • Identify trends and insights and measure experiments and conversion tests to optimize spend and performance based on the insights 
  • Work with Marketing Officers to co-ordinate email communications, ensuring optimum deliverability and maximising campaign success
  • Liaise with digital marketing agencies, digital media and vendor suppliers
  • Lead project to research, design and implement new digital image library
  • Maintain detailed work plans for all projects under direct responsibility, ensuring quality, deadlines, budget and policies are adhered to


Background of the Digital Marketing Manager:


  • 2-3 years digital marketing experience
  • Access to a vehicle
  • BA/MA degree in marketing or digital or a related field Highly organised
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media tools


  • Arts and cultural sector experience
  • Use of content management systems such as Drupal
  • Film editing
  • Proven personal user of wide range social channels: including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop or other graphic design packages
