Meraki Talent are recruiting a eLearning Consultant on a 12 Month FTC for our client, a Global Legal firm based in Glasgow City Centre. Working within a large business transformation programme and reporting to the IT Training Lead, the focus of this role is to develop and design high quality and engaging eLearning modules. 

Responsibilities of the eLearning Consultant:

  • To design and develop eLearning materials that support not only the changes within the programme, but also to support the longer term requirements of the business
  • Design of eLearning modules from initial scope through to storyboarding, prior to stakeholder sign off
  • Creation of high quality and interactive modules, using Articulate Storyline 360, including competency assessments
  • Upload and testing of content on the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Updating existing eLearning content, when required
  • Exceptional competence in the use of the Articulate 360 suite
  • Postproduction multimedia support – e.g. editing video through the use of Camtasia
  • Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  

Background of the Training and Projects Coordinator:

  • A strong understanding of learning methodologies and instructional design - essential 
  • Excellent attention to detail - essential 
  • Experience of working in a legal or professional services environment -  essential 
  • Experience of creating high quality eLearning modules within tight deadlines - essential 
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and to work to deadlines -essential 
  • A creative personality with new ideas to create engaging modules -  essential 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills - essential 
  • Proactive, problem solving approach to work
  • Ability to use own initiative, to prioritise effectively and to work under pressure -essential 
  • Excellent communication skills suited to a professional environment -essential 
  • Digital learning design qualified – CIPD or other - desired 
  • Experience of working globally across multiple time zones - desired
