Meraki Talent are looking for a Finance Assistant in Edinburgh for a client in Edinburgh. The client is looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join the well-established brand. 

The duties of the Finance Assistant:

  • Processing a high volume of sales invoices and purchase orders
  • Set up new supplier accounts and reconcile statements
  • Prepare and create of monthly journals
  • Carrying out bank and balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Cash flow forecast and reporting 
  • Carrying out administrative tasks on behalf of management alongside credit control duties

The background of the Finance Assistant

  • Experience working in a similar role, i.e. AP/AR, Finance Assistant
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Intermediate user of Excel
