Head of Operations - Transfer Agency

 Salary: Up to £80,000 plus bens

As well as getting involved in strategic initiatives whilst keeping in touch with the day to day management of your teams, you will also get involved in the commercial side of the business and face off to board level management. The company is very dynamic, and the successful candidate must be ambitious, embrace change and have a keen eye for scaling teams.

 

The candidate must have broad understanding of a variety of operational tasks including some of the following:

  • Client On-boarding
  • Dealing Box Management
  • Stock Transfers and ISA Transfers
  • Cash Settlement and managing liquidity especially with Multi-currency
  • Distributions
  • Monthly Transactions and Holdings Reporting
  • Probates and all aspects of Registrations
  • Ability to analyse incidents and rectify through controls. Training and procedures
  • Manage team daily tasks and priorities accordingly
  • Develop team both individually and as a team

 

 

The background of the Head of Operations – Transfer Agency:

 

  • Operational knowledge of fund administration to ensure clear understanding of the processes involved in the Transfer Agency.
  • Have experience of managing several operational teams
  • You must be able to evidence past process improvements implemented with previous teams that you have managed
  • Knowledge of CASS rules is essential
  • Attained modules in the IOC (“Investments Operations Certificate”) – or willing to study for
