HR Advisor - Absence Management

Meraki Talent are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor – Absence Management on behalf of our client, a highly regarded global investment company located in the city centre on an initial 6 month temporary basis.  Our client is looking to have a locally based HR Advisor focused on absence management cases to help support the wider HR function.  The ideal candidate will be working at advisory level and have a keen interest in employee relations, specifically absence management. This is an extremely rare opportunity for a HR Advisor who thrives working within a fast paced environment, has a hands on flexible approach to work and is looking to develop their skills within a short space of time.

Responsibilities of the HR Advisor – Absence Management:

  • Providing support to managers in relation to all health related absence
  • Working closely with external vendors ensuring they are updated on all absence related referrals
  • Building strong working relations with the wider HR team and internal stakeholders
  • Managing the severance database ensuring all the accompanying paperwork is tracked and logged
  • Main point of contact for leavers, being on hand to answer any questions and supporting them through the process
  • Keeping key stakeholders updated at all times

Background of the HR Advisor – Absence Management:

  • HR Advisory/generalist experience
  • Experience gained with the Financial or professional services sectors
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Absence Management
  • Accustomed to working within a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Accustomed to managing a high volume workload
  • Highly organise and proactive
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to hit the ground running and hands on approach to work
  • Experience in using HR specific systems
