HR Consultant

Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled HR Consultant, to join the UK's largest insurance organisation with offices in Wythall.  Reporting directly to the Head of HR this role will provide a generalist HR support function to designated business areas whilst also supporting various senior HR specialists within the wider area.  This is an initial interim role for a period of 3 to 6 months however does offer a strong potential of becoming a permanent post. This will be a varied role and our client requires the HR Consultant to be CIPD qualified and accustomed to managing a heavy HR Caseload. Please note this is an urgent requirement, therefore, you must be available to commence from the beginning of June.

Key responsibilities of the HR Consultant:

  • Provide full HR Generalist support/advice/coaching to management in designated business areas
  • Acting as the main liaison between the HR function and the business
  • Supporting HR Business Partners with the delivery of various projects
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners in the design and implementation of project restructures
  • Taking responsibility for ER issues within designated areas and supporting the HR Business Partner with complex cases
  • Working closely with line managers promote information sharing
  • Manage all strategic external relationships ensuring that a high level of service is provided at all times
  • Work in partnership with all the business leaders to support on all employee-related matters

Background of the HR Consultant:

  • Full CIPD qualification or studying towards
  • Up to dated HR Consultant experience gained within a large organisation preferably the financial services sector
  • Expert in managing volume caseloads and extensive knowledge of employment law
  • Comprehensive knowledge of reward/benefit and pay practices
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Accustomed to working in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
