Our client is actively looking for an Interim Deskside Support Analyst to work within their team on an interim contract basis. This contract will last until at least the 1st of March at which point the contract will be reviewed in line with IR35. (This may run on but at this stage no promises can be made) Based primarily in Edinburgh with a small amount of remote support, working within the wider infrastructure team, our client is looking for someone to provide deskside assistance for a company-wide rollout of Microsoft’s Exchange Online (from Exchange 2016), supporting business users who have been migrated to the new email platform and re-enrolling all users on Microsoft’s InTune for mobile devices.

 

Responsibilities of the Interim Deskside Support Analyst (Exchange & InTune):

 

  • Locate migrated users and visit these users at to help ensure the migration process is smooth, providing excellent customer service
  • Provide a high level of one-on-one customer service, troubleshooting issues with Exchange and mobile devices
  • Ensure all users issues are dealt with quickly and to full resolution, escalating where necessary
  • Assist users with re-enrolling their mobile devices in InTune, and setting up Office365 applications on their mobile devices
  • Document issues and resolutions and assist with this knowledge transfer to support teams
  • Working as an application discovery engineer, troubleshooting application install failures, understanding application dependencies and liaising with SMEs and vendors

 

Background of the Interim Deskside Support Analyst (Exchange & InTune):

 

  • Strong Office 365 experience and relevant applications absolutely essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Exchange and InTune with the ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Issue resolution experience and able to example this upon CV
  • Experience in supporting mobile devices
  • Experience working within a deskside/desktop support capacity is highly preferred
  • Looking for someone who is technically curious and can example their technical curiosity upon CV (Eg. Spends time reading blogs, watching tech vids, attending events, developing code, building websites, etc)
  • Track record in solving customer issues and able to example on CV
