Meraki Talent’s leading Investment Management client is shortlisting for an Investment Data Analyst to join their team in Edinburgh. The team manage the delivery of investment data including the cleansing and mastering process from data vendors. The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the companies Data Management capability. Responsibilities of the Investment Data Analyst (Investment Management):
-Provide support and administration for data cleansing applications such as Markit EDM
-Accountability for maintenance, management and integrity of Investment Data in Trading Systems
-Liaise with and oversee relationships with Third-Party data providers
-Assist with the month end pricing process
-Participate in data specific and organisation wide projects
Background of the Investment Data Analyst (Investment Management):
-Experience working within a data function within a Fund Management or Third-Party Administration business
-Knowledge of market data systems such as Reuters, Bloomberg and Markit EDM
-Knowledge of indices, derivative and investment performance, beneficial
-Strong Excel, VBA and Macro creation skills, essential
