Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled Investment Team Secretary,  on behalf of our client, a leading Institutional Investment management house on an FTC basis for around 8 months. Located in the south of Edinburgh this role will provide Secretarial support to a busy Investment Management Team on a daily basis.  The core responsibilities of this role include managing global travel, organising meetings, minute taking and preparing detailed meeting packs.  Our client Is looking for a Secretary who enjoys providing team support and is looking for a role within the investment arena. Please note this is an urgent role and our client is looking for an ASAP start.

Responsibilities of the Investment Team Secretary:

  • Arranging global travel, producing travel packs with detailed itineraries and arranging visa’s when required
  • Organising internal and external meetings
  • Producing, collating and distributing meeting packs
  • Minute/note-taking during meetings
  • Setting up video conference meetings and Skype calls
  • Expense management for the team
  • Processing invoices and raising PO numbers
  • Producing reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Providing cover for fellow support colleagues as and when required

Background of the Investment Team Secretary:

  • Recent and up to date Secretarial, PA or Administration experience
  • Advanced user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team player
  • Accustomed to working within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised
