Meraki Talent is working in collaboration with a multinational insurance company to recruit a full time, lead PEGA Programming Analyst to be based in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities of the PEGA Lead Programming Analyst
As our lead, you would oversee the performance of our programming staff and highlight potential training/development. Your duties will be in the design, coding, testing and documentation of large and complex programs. You will be able to provide expert advice in aspects of programming methods, tools and standards and be able to evaluate the effectiveness of current practices. You will be a good mentor, someone who is comfortable leading and assisting less experienced colleagues.
Your remit will also involve taking responsibility for the testing function within an IS development project, where you will supervise and provide guidance to colleagues on any aspect of test planning and evaluation. Part of this will involve devising testing strategies for projects and carry out investigations to determine best practice.
Background of the PEGA Lead Programming Analyst
You ideally will be an expert in application development methods, techniques and standards. You will intuitively understand and have used automated systems in the past and you will have demonstrated success in software creation, business analysis, app support or any systems development.

Minimally, we need you to have a degree, or relevant professional business expertise and have PEGA CSA (Certified System Architect). Ideally you will have PEGA CSSA (Certified Senior Systems Architect).
