Meraki Talent's leading Professional Services Organisation are seeking a Licensing Compliance Officer to join their growing team based in Glasgow. The role will review and evaluate approved suppliers and monitor the standard of workplace training obtained by students and members of the organisation.



Responsibilities of the Licensing Compliance Officer include:

  • Responsible for ensuring Approved Employer advisory and monitoring visits in the UK, Ireland and other practicing certificate audit territories are undertaken in line with agreed regulatory standards and the rolling visit plan.
  • Undertake a specified number of Approved Employer advisory and monitoring visits as set annually.
  • Responsible for providing support and training to the Authorisation team, in particular the review of experience records in support of practicing certificate applications.
  • Undertake presentations as part of the monitoring process providing guidance and support to ACCA members seeking practicing certificates.


Background of the Licensing Compliance Officer:

  • Educated to degree level and/or equivalent and hold a professional accountancy qualification.
  • Demonstratable experience of the UK/Irish accountancy firm sector essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual who can work with minimum supervision and with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
