Management Accountant

 Location: Edinburgh
 Salary: £30-35,000 + Excellent benefits
 Job type: Permanent
 Closes: closed

This Management Accountant job in Edinburgh with a global financial services business is a very exciting opportunity for a part-qualified or recently qualified accountant to join a crucial area for the business.  As Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for management accounting deliverables across several clients and ensuring daily supervision of activities within the department in accordance with agreed procedures and controls.

In conjunction with the Senior Management Accountant, you’ll work with a wide and varied stakeholder base, helping them understand the P&L and balance sheet, as well as participating in ad hoc projects as and when necessary.  Given the customer base, Transfer Agency and knowledge of alternate/traditional funds would be an advantage, but is not essential.  It’s a busy area, so the ability to work to relatively tight deadlines and the ability to manage the competing demands of various stakeholders would be helpful.

Naturally, as this is a management accounting role, you will be able to analyse financial information and be able to present it in a meaningful, easy to understand way.  This really is a great place to work – with the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis and enjoy flexible working hours one of the many perks of working here.  This area is a crucial area for the business, with lots of job opportunities anticipated, so it’s a great way to work at the heart of the business, see what’s going on, and build your network to ensure you’re in the right place to move onto your next role.
