Responsibilities of the Marketing & Communications Manager:

  • Working with the Group Head of Marketing and Communications on the implementation of marketing strategy for each company brand
  • Delivering B2B and B2C communications and campaigns across multiple channels, maximising impact in order to generate leads, measure results and ensure a positive return on investment
  • Researching and developing digital campaigns – targeted messaging, communications, content, blogs and advertising
  • Copywriting – brochures, leaflets, emails, case studies, blogs and news articles
  • Producing and updating content on our company websites
  • Event management
  • Dealing with press enquiries and writing press releases
  • Ensuring all marketing materials are in line with brand guidelines
  • Adherence to the relevant financial regulator's principles and rules
  • Generating revenue by increasing sales through successful implementation of marketing strategy


Background of the Marketing & Communications Manager:

  • Degree level of qualification or CIM equivalent
  • Financial services experience is desirable
  • Some experience of managing staff would be beneficial
  • Highly creative with experience of identifying target audiences and devising multi-channel campaigns
  • Efficient in email marketing, understanding the customer journey
  • Solid digital and social media marketing skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills - ability to work with both creative and commercial teams, managing multiple projects within tight deadlines
  • Ability to think outside the box, and lead from the front
  • Confident and persuasive communicator
  • Self-motivated with energy and enthusiasm to succeed
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to learn quickly
  • Driver’s license and own car preferable
