Meraki Talent’s well-known established client is short listing for a Microsoft Infrastructure Analyst to work within their team. The Microsoft Infrastructure Analyst will provide technical infrastructure expertise and act as an escalation point. The key focus of this role will be around server technologies and End User Compute. The Microsoft Infrastructure Analyst will also engage with external support partners as an escalation point.

 

Responsibilities of the Microsoft Infrastructure Analyst:

 

- Provide technical infrastructure expertise in Edinburgh and remote sites, face to face, telephone or using remote assistance tools

- Identify and resolve technical issues in line with business requirements and agreed SLA’s

- Undertake analysis of current and proposed systems and technologies and report findings and recommendations where applicable

- Liaise with the project teams and other technical areas to ensure a smooth transition from the implementation stage to business as usual with minimal impact to the business

 

Background of the Microsoft Infrastructure Analyst:

 

- Extensive experience working within an escalation capacity

- Broad and in-depth understanding of Infrastructure technologies

- Strong Windows experience, experience working with Microsoft Technologies , Windows Servers 2012/2016 and Office

- Experience with Active Directory/Group Policy/DHCP/DNS and Microsoft Exchange 2016\Exchange Online

- Any VMware, PowerShell and Azure cloud experience preferable
