Meraki Talent are actively short listing for a Network Analyst – Cisco and Unified Comms to work within their team. The key focus of the Network Analyst – Cisco and Unified Comms will be around network technologies and unified communication.

 

Responsibilities of the Network Analyst – Cisco and Unified Comms:

 

- Provide 2/3 line technical support in Edinburgh and remote sites, face to face, telephone or using remote assistance tools

- Undertake analysis of current and proposed systems and technologies and report findings and recommendations where applicable

- Liaise with the project teams and other technical areas to ensure a smooth transition from the implementation stage to business as usual with minimal impact to the business

- Ensure that the team process documentation is kept updated and accurate, and that any new documentation is created as required

 

Background of the Network Analyst – Cisco and Unified Comms:

 

- An in depth understanding of networking technologies - LAN/WAN/TCP/IP/WLAN

- Experience in supporting Cisco technologies is essential

- Experience supporting Firewalls and wireless technologies

- Knowledge working within a Microsoft environment would be helpful

- Any knowledge of Linux would also be helpful
