PA to Group Head

Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled PA, on behalf of our client, a highly regarded global asset manager with offices in central Edinburgh. Undertaking a 12 month full time interim temporary role starting ASAP the main focus will be to support a Head of and the wider team.  The role will be varied, incredibly fast paced and offer a fantastic opportunity for a PA looking for a challenging role within the asset management arena.  A typical day will include a big focus on extensive diary management, organising global travel, coordinating UK and International based internal/external meeting.  Please note only candidates who meet the full brief, have a proven background working with the asset management/financial sector and can commit to the full assignment will be considered.

Responsibilities of the PA to Group Head:

  • Extensive diary management  
  • Organise all UK & International meetings
  • Production of all paperwork/reports/presentations and preparing meeting agendas
  • Organising extensive International travel, accommodation, travel visas and producing detailed travel itineraries
  • Processing all expenses, invoices and raising purchase order numbers
  • Providing cover for direct colleagues as and when required
  • Inbox management

Background of the PA to Group Head:

  • Up to date PA experience gained within the financial services/asset management arena  - essential
  • Extensive diary management  - essential
  • Experience of organising International travel and meetings – essential
  • Advanced user of MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter & Highly organised
  • Accustomed to working within a fast-paced high-pressure environment – essential
  • Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure – essential
