Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled temporary PA, on behalf of our client, a highly regarded UK wide financial services company based in North Edinburgh. Supporting the Managing Director, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for a PA who is looking to provide dedicated 1:1 support.  This role requires a PA to act on the behalf of the Managing Director both in person and via written communications.  With this being a small office, during busy times everyone mucks in therefore the successful candidate needs to have a flexible approach to work. Only candidates who have a proven background of undertaking a dedicated 1:1 support role at Board Level which has also encompassed carrying out research and undertaking projects will be considered.   This is a full-time temporary interim role for 2 months commencing mid-February.

Responsibilities of the PA:

  • Diary management on behalf of the Managing Director
  • Full email and phone management
  • Act as the main point of contact for all clients in the absence of the Managing Director
  • Organising UK & Global travel, obtaining travel Visa’s and producing travel itineraries
  • Organising all internal/external meetings and events
  • Producing reports, PowerPoint presentations and general correspondence
  • Composing client correspondence with minimal guidance on behalf of the Managing Director
  • Assist the Managing Director in the collation of analysis for business planning
  • Production of meeting agendas, undertaking ad hoc minute taking and distribution of minutes
  • Expense management
  • Conducting research and sourcing information for the completion for client reports
  • Liaison with the receptionist to ensure delegated tasks have been completed
  • Compliance management for all client information ensuring everything is up to date and accurately filed
  • Assisting with all other ad hoc support

Background of the PA:

  • Recent and up to date PA experience supporting at Board Level – essential
  • Experience of working within the financial services sector – essential
  • Accustomed to working within a face paced environment – essential
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook – essential
  • Experienced working with figures/financial reporting – essential
  • Accustomed to having direct interaction with clients/customers on a regular basis – essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to build long-lasting relations with clients and key stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Confidentiality
