Meraki Talent’s financial services client is actively looking for a PL/SQL Application Developer to work within their team on a mixture of BAU and Project work. Taking an Agile approach, the business has a real focus on continuous improvement and will play an integral role in the delivery, maintenance and support of internal software systems for the Regulatory area.


Responsibilities of the PL/SQL Application Developer:


- Support and maintenance are part of the project and on average form 20% of daily work - 80% is spent on varying projects relating to the business areas we support

- Regular work with data extracts and data manipulation is required, this is due to the complex nature of financial instruments and their trading cycle

- Display a genuine interest in the ‘why’ behind software and the value it adds to the business


Background of the PL/SQL Application Developer:


- Strong PL/SQL development skills are essential for this role

- Any C#.Net experience would be a nice to have

- Net MVC / Angular would also be desirable

- Experience working within an Agile environment preferable but not essential
