Meraki Talent has been engaged to recruit an exciting opportunity to join an established banking institution in London as a Programme Manager. The successful appointee will work with the business to define and agree programme structure, business outcomes and benefits and to confirm that outputs and outcomes will support their realisation for SFTR.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an appropriate programme governance structure with different levels of stakeholder input
  • Effectively lead each project and workstream and maintain oversight at programme level
  • Operate in an Agile and Waterfall environment where necessary
  • Provide a programme control framework aligned with project and programme management processes and methodologies
  • Drive progress against the programme plan and act to mitigate potential cost or time delays
  • Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders (up to and including Exec level) to influence direction of programmes/projects
  • Lead, motivate and develop team members to create a high performing team that contributes to the performance of the wider projects community
  • Continuously evaluate programmes/projects for any risk and regulatory compliance

Required Experience:

  • Strong markets and regulatory landscape knowledge, specifically SFTR and Trade & Transaction Reporting
  • Ability to deliver both Business Change and IT Change projects/programmes 
  • Recent experience of driving organisational change
  • An in-depth understanding of the global economy and macro-economic trends
  • A strong Risk & Compliance mindset with the ability to proactively assess and analyse relevant threats
  • Ability to identify and anticipate future regulatory requirements and their implications
