Receptionist - Temporary

Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled temporary Receptionist, on behalf of our client, a highly regarded organisation with offices in central Edinburgh.  The ideal candidate will have proven front of house reception experience ideally gained within a corporate environment, be available on an immediate notice and able to commit on a week to week ongoing basis covering sickness leave.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Meeting and greet all visitors
  • Issuing visitor passes
  • Ensure visitors have everything they need and answering all questions in a professional manner
  • Booking rooms for both internal and external meetings
  • Ensure the reception and waiting room area is kept clean and tidy
  • Conduct weekly audits to ensure all temporary staff passes have been returned

Background of the Receptionist:

  • Recent and up to date Reception experience
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Team player
  • Experience in using meeting room booking systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Accustomed to working within a fast-paced high-pressure environment
  • Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure
  • Able to build relationships with visitors and colleagues
