Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled Receptionist, on behalf of our client, a highly regarded company based in north Edinburgh.  Joining a small and friendly office, this role reports in directly to the Office Manager and provides full reception and administration support to the wider office.  The ideal candidate will be looking to undertake a varied support role which includes covering reception, booking travel arrangements, compiling info & preparing reports us MS Office Suite and setting up meeting rooms for clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an incredibly successful company and undertake a varied stand alone reception role.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Meeting and greet all visitors
  • Taking and transferring all calls
  • Booking meeting rooms, setting up and organising catering
  • Organising travel arrangements
  • Managing petty cash
  • Distributing mail
  • Stationary management
  • Compiling information and preparing reports using MS Office Suite
  • Audio typing of taped dictation
  • Responsible for ensuring the reception and meeting room areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Assisting with ad hoc administration duties as and when required

 Background of the Receptionist:

  • Recent and up to date Reception and administration experience  - essential
  • Fast accurate copy typing speeds (60 wpm+) – essential
  • Preparation of reports and documents using MS Office Suite – essential
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail - essential
  • Audio typing – advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in using meeting room booking systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Able to build relationships with visitors and colleagues
