Meraki Talent are recruiting on behalf of a leading platform provider in Edinburgh. They are looking for a Project Risk Consultant to join their second line risk team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to help perform, improve and migrate the risk event process.


Responsibilities of the Project Risk Analyst:

  • Responsible for risk management
    • Monitoring low level risk management
    • Escalating high level risk management
    • Monitoring day-to-day risk events
  • Assist in helping perform, improve and migrate the risk event process
  • Gain a strong understanding of the existing rick event capture, collation and reporting process and the plans for improvement
  • Be responsible for identifying process improvements and implement these, demonstrating an improves process
  • Be responsible for defining the project plan to migrate the improved processes
  • Be responsible for the delivery of the plan and embedding these processing in the new business team
  • Conduct training for the new process owners and relevant stakeholders


Background of the Project Risk Analyst:

  • Previous project experience in planning and implementing is essential
  • Experience working within first- and second-line risk and compliance teams is essential
  • Have an understanding of the importance of risk events
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills – there is interaction with the whole company daily
  • Experience of delivering training
  • Strong attention to detail
