At Meraki, we are happy to announce that we are working in collaboration with a cloud solutions company to recruit a senior cloud project manager.

Our client is increasingly being recognised as an industry leader, helping clients in the public and private sector migrate their services/products to the cloud. It makes businesses work smarter and is cost effective, since a huge aspect of maintaining efficiency and innovating involves modifying and upgrading legacy product. 

This is where you come in

We need a creative person, who can play a leading role in the long-term growth and development of the organisation across four key metrics: Cloud, IT strategy, workforce productivity and SIAM. 

You would be placed strategically within a core migration project, where you will have the key responsibility for establishing business initiatives, large-scale change and the long-term planning, coordination and vision for the programme. 

Learning and development is a huge part of this role, we know that technology moves fast, and our client is keen on staying as up to date as possible. As a result, there is an excellent opportunity as they will provide funding for you to obtain professional cloud accreditation (if you don't already have these).

What we need you to have

  • Knowledge of program/project life cycles 
  • Strong commercial / financial skills
  • Experience managing a mix of complex business applications and business process change projects within a substantial Public Sector organisation
  • Clear and evidenced experience of successfully implementing innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of project and programme team structures 
  • You will be trained in a recognised project / programme method e.g. MSP, Prince2, PMI
  • Expertise in professional communications with external stakeholders at various levels 
  • Ability to demarcate risks, issues and dependencies
  • Previous experience in an Agile PM space
  • Networking skills and the ability to influence, as developing internal/external business relationships is important for long term strategic goals.
