Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled Team Secretary, on behalf of our client, a leading global wealth management firm. Located in Leeds city centre, this role will sit alongside an existing team of nine and provide solid secretarial support to the Investment Managers whilst also undertaking office management duties.  The successful candidate will have proven secretarial, PA or administration experience and be excited about the prospect of being the main support function for the office. The role is varied and would suit a candidate who is looking to pursue a career within the wealth management/investment space.  This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Responsibilities of the Team Secretary:

  • Management of the team's central inbox
  • Preparing letters, reports, general correspondence and all other documentation as and when required
  • Organising all internal and external client meetings
  • Arranging travel and producing travel packs with detailed itineraries
  • Collating and submitting all expense claims
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all incoming calls
  • Preparation of all meeting packs and agenda’s
  • Taking minutes/note taking
  • Coordination of committee meetings including all the accompanying paperwork
  • Stationery management
  • Ordering office sundries (Tea, Coffee etc)
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the office

 Background of the Team Secretary:

  • Recent and up to date Secretarial, PA or Administration experience
  • Prior experience working within the investment arena
  • Advanced user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Accustomed to working within a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Accustomed to working within a fast-paced environment
