Working within a delivery stream responsible for a suite of several applications, this is a great opportunity for a Business Analyst to work end to end in the application development, from project initiation through to delivery of applications and technical solutions. As part of a wider analysis and technical team within the delivery stream, the Business Analyst will be required to work closely with business stakeholders/end users/product owners to analyse business processes and requirements to assist in creating robust software applications, enhancing existing applications, or driving process change.

 

Responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst – Fund Management:

 

- Work closely with business users/stakeholders to understand and document business needs, including process mapping and gap analysis, eliciting business requirements, and other analysis artifacts as required

- Work collaboratively with technical teams including UX/UI design and development to explore how requirements can be met

- Translate business requirements into acceptance criteria that will be used for development

- Represent business stakeholders throughout projects and ensure that business requirements are met

- Act as a key point of contact for both business users/stakeholders and technical delivery teams

- Facilitate development and testing and provide support throughout

 

Background of the Technical Business Analyst – Fund Management:

 

- Experience working as a Business Analyst is essential. Either a graduate/entry level BA with a strong academic or alternatively a more experienced BA with a highly technical mindset

- Knowledge of the software development life-cycle and associated development methodologies highly preferable

- Experience working within a large scale/established/structured business is highly preferable

- Experience in delivering workshops and meetings

- ISEB/BCS qualifications would be a nice to have but not essential

- Financial services experience preferable but not essential

- Past experience in working with development teams preferable but not essential
