Meraki Talent’s professional services client based in Dundee are currently looking for a customer focussed Technical Support Analyst to join them for an initial 6 month contract on a day rate basis. This role with be responsible for the deployment and rollout of Office 365.

 

As Technical Support Analyst you will be responsible for assisting a key project delivery.  Your purpose will be to represent the Service Delivery support team as part of the project.  Responsible for creating quality documentation as well as performing technical work to integrate into the operational support team.  You will also be responsible for representing service management within the project team from an ITIL perspective. 

 

Responsibilities of the Technical Support Analyst;

  • Provide and promote first-class, proactive IT customer support
  • Provide 2nd line support to the IT Service Desk to diagnose problems, initiate remedial actions and resolve reported incidents
  • Collaborate with the wider IT Operations team on solutions and best practice as-well as representing any service delivery requirements and feature requests
  • Install and support various business services and desktop applications
  • Provide guidance and support for the IT Service Desk
  • Create, update and support adoption of ITIL based support processes and procedures
  • Create quality support and transition documents
  • Proven experience in supporting Office 365 deployment

 

Background of the Technical Support Analyst;

  • Proven experience operating a Service Desk tool supporting local and remote users
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange\Office 365 user administration
  • Excellent working knowledge of working with an enterprise mobile device management administration console
  • NTFS and File Share permissions
  • Local and Wide Area Networks
  • Excellent and proven problem solving and troubleshooting experience
  • Hardware, software purchase and maintenance
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework
  • Documentation of processes and solutions
