Our client, a leading institutional fund management house, is looking for a Working Practice Transformation Lead (Lean) to to help shape, drive, communicate and execute the targeted series of initiatives that represent the delivery phase of the Working Practices and Controls workstream within a large Transformation Programme. The overall programme is expected to last for 2 years.

 

Responsibilities of the Working Practice Transformation Lead (Lean):

 

- Take a leading role in the development, articulation and delivery of relevant aspects of the Transformation agenda, working closely with the Head of Working Practices and Controls as part of the core workstream team in the delivery of innovation, robust control, behavioural change and continuous improvement

- Gather and champion innovative and new ideas on working practices and controls

- Support the development and iteration of functional strategy with relevant design principles

- Provide insight, tools, education and challenge in respect of lean, innovative and engaging working practices to enhance control effectiveness and employee engagement, together with greater transparency over the cost of control and what is proportionate

 

Background of the Working Practice Transformation Lead (Lean):

 

- A proven track record of leading and implementing broad-ranging control optimisation and improvement projects

- Extensive experience in championing and introducing lean practices into a large-scale business, our client is looking for someone who can consider themselves as a Lean SME or expert, not just someone with exposure to Lean

- Extensive experience in look at working practices across an entire business or large business area

- Experienced in driving strategic change programmes with senior sponsors

- Experience working within a large-scale financial services business is absolutely essential

- Track record of leading and implementing broad-ranging control optimisation and improvement projects
