Tracy Freeman Director - HR & Business Support at Meraki Talent

Tracy Freeman

Director - HR & Executive Support

tracy.freeman@merakitalent.com

https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-freeman-44132b9/

Tracy has built her career around connecting exceptional HR and Executive Support professionals with organisations where they can make a genuine impact. She brings particular expertise across Financial Services and Insurance, combining an extensive network with a detailed understanding of the people, cultural and organisational challenges facing businesses operating within complex and highly regulated environments.

At the senior end of the HR market, Tracy partners with organisations on appointments ranging from Chief People Officers and HR Directors through to Senior HR Business Partners, HR Managers and senior specialist hires. Her wider team provides expertise across Reward & Benefits, HRIS, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Organisational Change and generalist HR, allowing Meraki to support clients across the breadth of the people function.

Alongside HR, Tracy has extensive experience within Executive and Business Support, recruiting the professionals who provide critical support to senior leaders and high-performing teams. This includes Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Team Assistants and other specialist business support appointments across Financial and Professional Services.

Tracy's approach is highly consultative. She believes successful recruitment starts with understanding the organisation behind the vacancy – its culture, ambitions, challenges and people strategy – as well as understanding what genuinely motivates a candidate. That allows her to look beyond experience on a CV and identify the alignment required to create successful, long-term appointments. It's an approach she has championed since joining Meraki to establish and grow its dedicated HR & Executive Support offering.

Her role also extends beyond individual recruitment assignments. Tracy works closely with HR leaders and senior stakeholders to share market intelligence, discuss emerging workforce challenges and provide insight into the changing hiring landscape. This increasingly includes areas such as workforce planning, organisational change, EVP, succession planning, employee relations, technology and AI, and the changing expectations of employees and employers.

A passionate advocate for bringing the HR community together, Tracy hosts regular HR events and roundtables, creating an environment where senior HR professionals can discuss the issues shaping their organisations, exchange ideas and build meaningful professional relationships. These conversations also keep Tracy close to the issues affecting the market, providing clients and candidates with insight grounded in what HR leaders are experiencing in real time.

Relationship building remains central to everything Tracy does. Many of the professionals she has supported as candidates have subsequently become clients, and vice versa. For Tracy, this is what great recruitment should look like: trusted relationships that continue well beyond an individual appointment.

Today, Tracy helps organisations secure exceptional people while supporting HR and Executive Support professionals through some of the most important decisions of their careers.
