Jaimie Short

Based in the Edinburgh office, Jaimie plays a key role in supporting the team’s day-to-day operations and ensuring a smooth experience for colleagues, candidates and clients.

Working across the wider team, he provides support across a broad range of activities, from internal administration and coordination to candidate and client support. He is also closely involved in Meraki’s internal recruitment processes, acting as a point of contact for people interested in joining the business.

Jaimie works alongside Richard Chase to support contractor onboarding and compliance requirements as well as operational processes and regulatory standards.

Approachable, organised and always willing to help, Jaimie has become a familiar face across Meraki and an important link between different teams and offices. His move from recruitment into Business Support reflects Meraki’s commitment to giving people the opportunity to develop their careers around their individual strengths, skills and ambitions.

Outside work, rugby is a major passion. A former 1st XV player, Jaimie remains an avid supporter and can regularly be found at Murrayfield throughout the season.
