With more than 15 years of recruitment experience, Nathan has built his career within Financial Services, developing particular expertise across Asset Management, Buyside, Wealth Management, Investment Management and Asset Servicing. He joined Meraki at its inception in 2015 and has been instrumental in the development of the business ever since.

In 2018, Nathan relocated from Scotland to establish Meraki's London office, building the firm's presence in one of the world's most important Financial Services markets. Since then, he has helped develop an extensive client network across London and the wider UK, partnering with Asset Managers, Wealth Managers, Fund Services businesses and other organisations operating throughout the investment ecosystem.

Today, Nathan leads Meraki's Asset & Wealth Management offering, providing clients with access to specialist recruitment expertise across the entire investment lifecycle. The practice delivers multi-disciplinary coverage spanning Buyside, Banking, Investor Relations, Multi-Asset Brokerage, Marketing & Distribution, Investment Operations and both Public and Private Markets.

Nathan has developed particularly strong expertise within the operational and infrastructure functions that underpin Asset Management. His network spans Investment and Fund Operations, Fund Services, Client and Relationship Management and the increasingly important Private Markets ecosystem. He works with organisations ranging from traditional Asset and Wealth Managers to Fund Services providers, ACDs, Custodians, technology businesses and consultancies.

Nathan's approach is highly consultative. Rather than viewing recruitment as an individual transaction, he works to understand a client's business, operating model, culture and longer-term objectives. This allows him and his team to support everything from individual specialist appointments and senior leadership searches to the development and structure of entire teams.

As a Director, Nathan's responsibilities extend beyond his own market. He plays an active role in the leadership and continued expansion of Meraki's London business, helping to identify new markets, develop client relationships and attract and mentor specialist recruiters as the team grows. His recent expansion of the London Financial Services team has included investment in Asset Management Finance, Change & Transformation, Risk & Compliance and other specialist disciplines.Outside of work, Nathan is a committed marathon runner, having completed marathons in six major cities, as well as a devoted Arsenal supporter. When he's not running or watching football, he enjoys spending time walking his dog.

Throughout his career, Ian has built an extensive global network of senior compliance and risk professionals, partnering with organisations across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia. His client base spans investment banks, asset managers, private equity and hedge funds, insurers, multinational corporates, professional services organisations, law firms and rapidly growing financial technology businesses.

Ian specialises in senior and leadership appointments, typically from Vice President and Director through to Managing Director, Partner and functional leadership level. He has worked closely with Chief Compliance Officers, Financial Crime Prevention leaders and General Counsels, providing executive search and market intelligence around some of their most business-critical appointments.

His track record includes searches for Chief Compliance Officers, regional and global Heads of Compliance, Heads of Financial Crime Prevention, Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs), Investigations leaders and senior specialists across Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Compliance Monitoring and Regulatory Risk. His international search experience includes mandates across the UK, UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, India, Korea, Malaysia and Australia.

Alongside executive search, Ian has significant experience delivering complex market intelligence and talent-mapping projects. He works as a strategic partner to clients looking to understand competitor structures, benchmark senior talent, enter new markets or build and strengthen specialist Compliance and Financial Crime functions.

Central to Ian's approach is his belief that recruitment should be the outcome of a relationship, rather than the starting point. Over many years, he has built an international community of senior compliance professionals by sharing market intelligence, regulatory developments and thought leadership, alongside podcasts, speaking engagements and industry events.

At Meraki Talent, Ian is developing a specialist practice focused on the increasingly complex challenges facing organisations across Financial Crime Prevention, Compliance, Regulatory Risk, Investigations and ESG Governance. His coverage extends beyond traditional financial services into multinational corporates, insurance, private equity, professional services, fintech and digital assets, where regulatory scrutiny and the need for experienced leadership continue to grow.

Based in Meraki Talent’s London office, Rob strengthens the firm’s Change and Contract offering, partnering closely with major Financial Services clients across the UK. He recruits experienced contract and interim professionals across complex business and technology transformation programmes, helping organisations access specialist capability at the point it is needed most.

Throughout his career, Rob has developed an extensive network across the Banking and Investment Management markets, with particular expertise across Business Analysis, Project and Programme Management, Change Management, Operational Resilience, Regulatory Change, Data, Technology Transformation and wider business transformation.

His experience gives him a strong understanding of how the Financial Services change landscape continues to evolve. Increasingly, transformation programmes sit at the intersection of technology, regulation, data, risk and operations, requiring professionals who can understand the wider commercial environment as well as deliver within their own specialist discipline.

Rob takes a relationship-led approach to recruitment, working closely with clients to understand the outcomes they need to achieve before identifying the specialist contract and change professionals capable of delivering them. Maria partners with investment firms across a broad range of mandates spanning Client Services, Sales and Distribution, Business Development, Marketing and related investment support functions. Her network extends from professionals developing their careers within the sector through to experienced specialists and senior commercial hires.

Maria has developed particular expertise within the Client Services market, working closely with Asset Managers as demand for high-quality RFP and investment content professionals has increased. She understands the increasingly important role these teams play in fundraising, investor engagement and business growth, and the challenges firms face in attracting talent with the right combination of investment knowledge, writing ability and commercial awareness. Her recent thought leadership explores how competition for experienced professionals has intensified as the function has moved closer to fundraising and investor engagement.

Her broader coverage also gives Maria a strong understanding of the complete client and distribution lifecycle, from client services and sales support through to business development and relationship management.
